Your training is comprised of multiple session. See details below:

I. Setting up your business on Quickbooks-on-the Cloud 

  • Set up a company file
  • Set up Chart of Accounts 


II. Daily functions. Managing your accounting and finances in QuickBooks, Plus Shortcuts
  • Creating invoices
  • Applying payments from customers
  • Managing A/R (unpaid customer invoices)
  • Recording customer deposits with / without Sales tax
  • Inputting Bills
  • Paying bills with checks and / or credit cards
  • Printing checks
  • Analyzing A/P (vendor bills owed)
  • Recording transfer of inter-bank funds
  • Classifying expenses to jobs / customers / projects
  • Time saving shortcuts


III. Working with banking download

  • Understanding how the process of downloading bank and credit card transactions works
  • Learning to match downloading transactions
  • Reconciling downloaded transactions to bank statement


IV. Running Reports and Analyzing Financial Date

Run the following reports:

  • Income and expenses report
  • Profitability for entire business
  • Profitability by project / Job
  • Sales analysis
  • Unpaid invoices and aging
  • Unpaid bills reports
  • Financial position report
  • Sales tax collected
